Alola everyone!
After posting about my fav Pokémon gen, here is part 3 of PU 101 Intermediate guide! Enjoy!
MAP QUIRKS
The following are special appliances you can use to enhance your performance inside the Map:
Jump Pad: At the 5-min mark, a Dugtrio-Powered Jump Pad will spawn in your base after respawning after the KO timer. This Jump Pad spans two flux and GZs in all three areas: Top, Bot and Jungle. Note that if you jump pad onto a goal which is being scored on, you automatically disconnect that score. Remember to use it!
Timer: You might be wondering why timings are so important- in fact, top squads like TTV center their entire game strategy around timings! Timing when Dred. spawns, rotation etc.. Whenever I am not in combat , I always try to get an idea of the time and organize my play from there. You will see why this is so helpful in later stages of this guide!
Quick Chat: The Quick Chat is especially useful for Solo-queue players to let them communicate with their team. Messages like “Headed to the top path!” or “Gather here” or “Lets attack Dred.” can help you organize with your team. Note that Mobile and Nintendo placement will be different; For mobile the chat option would be on the top-left.

Team View: The Team View is almost as important as the Minimap, as you can see the stats of your team and the opposing team: On the image below, we can see that Venusaur and Alolan Ninetales on our team are at full health from the green health bar below their icons. Absol is on KO timer after being KOed. This is the same for the opposing team- Everyone on the opposing team is alive and in the match. Our team is at a disadvantage (3v4), as Absol is on KO timer. (Note: Zeraora just KOed Absol as seen on the screen).
