One of my favorite things to do is read. I believe, I have read many sorts of books, ranging from mystery to fantasy to realistic fictions. I am also fond of non-fictions. Today I will be sharing my number 1 favorite book, a Wrinkle in time by Madeleine L'Engle.
Basically there is a girl (Meg), her little brother (Charles Wallace) and their friend (Calvin) who are trying to save Meg’s father, who is fighting ‘The Black Thing’ or IT. ‘The Black Thing’ is a shadow-like creature (A brain, they figure out) who covers planets (like the earth). With Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which to help them, Meg, Charles Wallace and Calvin will save Meg’s father and get into trouble along the way.
My favorite chapter is when Charles Wallace goes into IT thinking he can get out whenever he wants, and becomes a powerful vassal of IT, trying to persuade Meg to join IT. But Meg uses the power of love to save Charles Wallace and weaken IT.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone, and there is a movie too. The movie however isn’t as good.
